Vision vs Medical insurance

Vision insurance: primarily covers preventative care eye exams. Typically, this is an annual benefit that can screen for more serious eye conditions. It focuses on covering services for eyeglasses and contact lenses. It does not cover medical treatments for eye diseases or injuries, such as dry eyes or infections.
